"One of the most fulfilling parts of my job at P·P·O·W is to create our art fair presentations. We have these scale models that I make, which we all collectively debate for months. They’re practical, for sure, but they’re also a vehicle for dreaming up new challenges, new dialogues amongst our artists, and for making a statement with pieces we feel must be seen in a given place, at a given time.
The works I’ve picked here represent some of my best memories of past booths and some dreams for the future.
Every other month or so, once our booth is polished, I seek inspiration from our colleagues' work while playing a little game, as I’m sure we all do, of building my fantasy art collection. I look forward to playing again soon at Art Basel. I hope something here or on our stand in Switzerland will enter your collection, in reality or make-believe."
